Then there is far-reaching significance to the application and research of flowmeter.
By constantly endeavor and study scientists have developed many kinds of flowmeters which have their own peculiarities. Vortex flowmeter is a new type flowmter that have developed from 1970’s. Because of its advantages vortex flowmeter is received by vast users. Based on market needs and its characteristics vortex will have a wide applied range and expansive developing space.
Optical fiber vortex flowmter is the design object. Based on traditional vortex flowmeter it combines characteristics of optical fiber. As sense organ optical fiber is used to sense vortex frequency. Optical fiber has many advantages such as strong anti-jamming, high sensitivity, light weight, small volume, ability of bend, capacity of sensing varied parameters and so on. So it is promising to research optical fiber vortex flowmeter. The questions on sensor such as shell, bluff, selection and placing of optical fiber are considered. Signal measurement, amplification, filter, shaping, MCU system and display are composed in the design of hardware. Structuralization and modularization are adopted in the design of software.
According to the result analyse, optical fiber flowmeter can accomplish the measure task. It has exact result, simple measured circuits, low-power system and steady operating. There is a widely developed space to optical fiber flowmeter.
